Practical task guides

Choose the task you need to complete. Each guide explains what to check, what happens next and where to continue in your account.

Renewing evidence

  1. Open your driver compliance page and choose the document that needs attention. A CPC renewal belongs under Driver CPC; it does not replace your driving licence.
  2. Upload the current document and check that the upload was received. Extraction is a precheck. Wait for the recorded review before treating the document as verified.
  3. If a shift is blocked, read its exact reason. Your documents and reviewed entitlement must cover the whole shift.

Applying and confirming

  1. Check the dates, hours, rate, duties and evidence requirements before applying. An application does not reserve a shift.
  2. If selected, open My shifts, review the agreement and confirm before the shift begins. Selection is awaiting your decision until confirmation succeeds.
  3. If the shift has changed or closed, refresh its details. Do not assume a failed or timed-out request created a booking; check the saved state.

Arrival, cancellation and replacement

  1. Review the confirmed shift’s arrival instructions and contact details before travelling.
  2. If you cannot attend, use the shift’s cancellation or replacement process promptly. A proposed replacement is not accepted until the applicable checks and decisions are complete.
  3. For immediate danger, use the appropriate emergency service. A support request is not emergency dispatch.

A timesheet needs correction

  1. Compare the recorded start, finish, breaks and overtime with the work performed. Review each line in a weekly timesheet.
  2. Follow the displayed correction or dispute action and explain the specific difference. Do not submit a second record to work around an unresolved one.
  3. Approval confirms the payable hours and amount. It does not confirm that money has been transferred.

Issuing a contractor invoice

  1. Wait for an approved amount, then use Issue invoice on the timesheet.
  2. Check your legal supplier identity, applicable company and VAT details, and payment instructions. Complete missing fields before issue.
  3. Check the issued invoice number, net amount, VAT, total and due date. The issued snapshot is retained; later profile edits do not rewrite it.
Review invoice requirements

Late or partial direct payment

  1. The employer pays the contractor directly. Recording a transfer in Drivano does not move funds.
  2. Confirm only money you have actually received. Enter the cumulative amount received against that invoice; a partial receipt leaves the remainder outstanding.
  3. If the amount, currency or invoice does not reconcile, raise the specific discrepancy with the other party and include the invoice reference in support.
Review money records

Password and two-step verification

  1. Use Forgot password from sign-in to request a reset for your account email.
  2. Enable two-step verification under Account security using an authenticator app. Save the one-use recovery codes privately.
  3. Each signed-in session must verify separately. A device’s biometric lock does not replace account verification. If you lose both the authenticator and recovery codes, contact support; do not share passwords or codes.

Employers: review contractor invoices and payments, or open a support request. Include the relevant shift, timesheet or invoice reference, without payment credentials or identity documents.
